Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote form collects only gender, date of birth, current health level, tobacco usage, the amount of coverage you need, and the term length you prefer. These six data points are sufficient for carriers to provide rate quotes. Your name, home address, and specific health history are only collected if you decide to submit an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent the rates each carrier would quote for the health category you selected. Your final premium will be determined by the carrier's underwriting review, which might confirm, enhance, or adjust your rate classification. Nothing presented on this site is a binding offer of coverage or a price promise.
What happens when I click Apply?
You continue into a protected online application set up by the carriers' platform, already filled with the information you entered. You're able to save your progress and finish later, and all signatures happen electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-regulated agency (License 0B75129), oversees the application process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier, your coverage limit, and the information you provide. A lot of carriers now offer expedited approval paths with no exam for applicants who meet their criteria. Each rate quote on this site specifies whether an exam is expected, might be required, or is usually not needed.
Is a longer term better?
Your term should span the years when your household would suffer the most financial hardship from your death: while a mortgage is active, while raising children, or while carrying a business obligation. Longer terms lock in your rate for longer, but cost more monthly. You can compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options directly in the quote tool.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool does not gather contact details, we do not market or share personal information, and our measurement contains no cookies. Visit the privacy page to see exactly what gets tracked and by whom.
